FYUGP Subjects
GU-FYUGP Degrees
The GU-FYUGP will offer two two types of Bachelor's degree :
Bachelor's Degree in a Stream (Arts & Science) and
Bachelor's Degree in a Discipline
Bachelor's Degree in a Stream
The Bachelor's Degree in a Stream includes Bachelor's of Arts and Bachelor's of Science degrees. These degrees will be offered across 39 different subjects. Students can choose to mix the subjects for theor Major and Minors subject to prerequisites and other stiplulated requirements and conditions.
Bachelor's Degree in a Discipline
The Bachelor's Degree in a Discsiplines includes the Standalone Degrees. This degrees DO NOT have Majors and Minors except Commerce. Student opting for these degrees CANNOT choose subjects from other streams.
These degrees also include Bachelor's Degree in Vocation, which includes 22 disciplines.
The disciplines are:
Applied Science
Biotechnology
Business Administration
Commerce
Computer Application
Information technology
Microbiology
Vocational Disciplines (22 numbers)
GU-FYUGP Structure
Subject Groups (for Bachelor's Degree in Arts & Science)
NOTE :
The grouping of the subjects shown below is as per the primary gorup of the subject. For example, Geography belongs to Science and Economics belongs to Arts. However, students from both Arts & Science can opt for any subject belonging to Science & Arts respectively, provided they fulfil the prerequisites and necessary requirements.
The yellow coloured subjects may not have Major option. Please check it wth individual institutions / colleges.
